Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have invested more than Rs 750 billion in various sectors.

Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has released the fiscal year 2081 BS. According to the data till the fourth quarter of 2018, 14 life insurers have invested Rs 757.36 billion. Last year 2080. The companies had invested Rs 682.29 billion in various sectors. Compared to the previous year, the company’s investment increased by 11 percent in the review period.

Similarly, Himalayan Life has invested Rs 79.11 billion and National Life has invested Rs 71.48 billion in various sectors.

National Insurance Company has invested Rs 62.64 billion in various sectors, Asian Life Insurance Rs 46.61 billion, Suryajyoti Life Insurance Rs 41.34 billion, Met Life Insurance Rs 31.52 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 24.14 billion, Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Rs 21.05 billion. Reliable Nepal Life has invested Rs 19.88 billion, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Rs 17.85 billion, IME Life Rs 17.52 billion and Sun Nepal Life Rs 15.18 billion.

Life insurers have invested Rs 596.12 billion in fixed deposit banks of banks and financial institutions in the review year. In the previous fiscal year, the insurers had invested Rs 521.36 billion. Compared to the previous year, the investment of companies in fixed deposits of banks increased by 14.32 percent in the review year.
