Kathmandu. NASA Securities has sponsored the jersey of the Nepali national cricket team. Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) and NASA Securities have signed an agreement to sponsor jerseys.
Now TAG_OPEN_p_11 the logo of NASA Securities will appear on the Nepal jersey. A new jersey of Nepal national cricket was also launched on the occasion. According to the agreement, NASA will provide Rs 23.6 million every year for the next three years. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said that NASA has been selected through the bidding process and it is a historic agreement.
The agreement was signed TAG_OPEN_p_10 by CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, General Manager Utsav Dhungana, MANAGING DIRECTORS of NASA Securities Madan Poudel and Anil Shrestha.
National Sports Council (TAG_OPEN_p_9 NSC) Member-Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising, CAN Chairman Chand and MANAGING DIRECTOR of NASA Securities Poudel jointly unveiled the new jersey.
The new jersey TAG_OPEN_p_8 was unveiled a day before Nepal’s national team leaves for Australia in preparation for the T20 World Cup qualifiers. The Nepali team is taking part in the Top and T20 Series to be held in Darwin, Australia, which will be held from August 14 to 24.
The tour is in preparation for the ICC Men TAG_OPEN_p_7’s T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific Joint Qualifier tournament to be held in Oman in October.
A member has been changed to the squad announced for the Tour of Australia. Lalit Rajbanshi has been dropped from the team after the death of his mother, while Sahab Alam has been included in the team in his place.
