Advocate Girija Prasad Adhikari along with two others had filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court on July 12, 2018, seeking an order against the Government of Nepal.
The supreme court has also summoned the Government of Nepal, The Ministry of Finance, Nepal Insurance Authority, Nepal Reinsurance, Himalayan Reinsurance for discussion with a show-cause order before deciding on the need to issue an interim order. is.

The Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) had issued an interim order in the case filed in connection with the writ petition. The writ petition, which was not allowed to be seen on July 15, could not be discussed on Sunday. Now, the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing to August 15.
This is the third case pending in the Supreme Court with The Nepal Insurance Authority as a defendant. The Supreme Court has said that the supreme court will not be able to look into the case related to the cancellation of the inquiry committee formed by the Council of Ministers against the suspended Chairman sharad Ojha. The Supreme Court has also fixed November 10 as the next date of hearing in the case filed regarding Ojha’s disqualification in April last year.
