Kathmandu. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at some places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Thursday.
Rain water is likely to be up to one inch thick in some places of Bagmati Province.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has warned the people living around the river to take precautions.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the rest of the Tarai region including the Tarai region of Lumbini and Madhes province.
The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhes and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the Tarai region on Thursday night.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions, Madhes and SudurPaschim provinces and at one or two places of the rest of the Tarai region.
