Kathmandu. Asian Life Insurance Company Limited last fiscal year 2081. It has earned more than Rs 9 billion in insurance premium.
According to the company’s CHIEF Executive Officer on the occasion of the 17th Annual General Meeting, the company has earned a total insurance premium of about Rs 9 billion including renewal and first insurance till July 15.
According to the directives of the Nepal Insurance Authority, the total insurance premium of the company has exceeded Rs 9 billion in the last fiscal year in two more business days.
Last year, the company collected more than Rs 3 billion in first insurance premium from the sale of insurance policies.
The company, which has been aggressive in the sale of foreign employment term insurance policy in the recent past, had collected Rs 895.85 million from the sale of this policy till mid-May of the last fiscal year. The monthly average monthly collection for the last few months of the last fiscal year is estimated to be Around Rs 1 billion from foreign term insurance.
According to the NRA, the previous fiscal year 2080. The company had earned a total of Rs 8.54 billion in insurance premiums in 2018. Out of this, Rs 1.92 billion was collected as first insurance fee and the rest was renewal insurance fee.
The company had collected Rs 7.86 billion in foreign employment insurance premium till mid-May of the last fiscal year.
According to the NRA, it had collected Rs 1.58 billion in first insurance premium, Rs 196.98 million in foreign employment insurance and Rs 6.07 billion in renewal insurance.
