Sagar Distillery becomes first company to get IPO approval in current fiscal

Kathmandu. Sagar Distillery has become the first company to get IPO approval in the current fiscal year.

The Securities Board of Nepal has given permission to Sagar Distillery to bring the IPO on August 15. The company has got permission to bring an IPO equivalent to 20 percent of the paid-up capital.

Now the company will issue an IPO worth Rs 145.2 million. Accordingly, the company will issue a total of 1,452,000 units of ordinary shares at a face value of Rs 100 each.

After the IPO sale, the paid-up capital of the company will reach Rs 726 million. Muktinath Capital is the ipo sales manager of the company.
