Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by single digits today. The NEPSE index closed 5.17 points higher at 2978.88 points.
Today, seven groups in the NEPSE sub-group have greenery and six groups have been painted red. The finance group declined the most by 3.23 per cent, while the hotel and tourism group fell the most by 1.10 per cent.
On this day, the share price of 98 companies has increased in the market. Today, the share price of 152 companies has decreased.
Shares worth Rs 19.5 billion were traded in the market today. Himalayan Reinsurance has done the highest turnover on this day.
