Kathmandu. Dhangadhi: Eight shops were gutted in a fire caused by a short circuit in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4 on Sunday night.
According to the District Police Office, Kailiya, the fire broke out around 10.50 pm. Eight shutters, including four from trade suppliers, three from Parivartan Inpex and one from Centre Point restaurant, caught fire.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the fire was brought under control after about an hour with the help of fire brigade of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Godavari Municipality and locals.
Due to the fire, the goods inside the shop were completely destroyed.
