Kathmandu. Best Finance Limited has launched ‘Green Savings Deposit Product’. The company has launched this product with the aim of supporting the campaign of climate change risk reduction, environmental protection and green economy promotion.
This deposit scheme, which has been launched as a guide to ‘Nepal Green Finance Taxonomy, 2024’, is considered important towards the green financing of Best Finance.
Best Finance has made arrangements to plant one sapling for every green savings deposit collected from the customers. In collaboration with the local bodies, the work of planting saplings, godmailing, preserving them and handing them over to the local level after five years has been coordinated. Best Finance has partnered with Lions International District 325S Nepal to implement the campaign.
BN Gharti, CHIEF Executive Officer of Best Finance and Chintan Bajracharya, Area Chief Coordinator, Lions District 325S Nepal (Area 1, Kathmandu) signed the MoU.
In this context, Best Finance, Lions Club and Godavari Municipality Ward No. 1 jointly planted 500 saplings on the vacant land at Godamchaur. Ward Chairman Shreeraj Thapa, Best Finance Chairman Prof. Dr. Ramji Gautam, Chief Executive Officer BN Gharti, Lions’ Chintan Bajracharya, Bal Kumar Pandey and more than 50 club representatives were present on the occasion.
