Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system have increased by Rs 43 billion in a single day. According to nepal rastra bank data, deposits have increased from Rs 7,194 billion till Tuesday to Rs 7,237 billion as on Wednesday.
Similarly, the credit flow stood at Rs 5,589 billion on Tuesday to Rs 5,591 billion on Wednesday. Credit flow has increased by Rs 2 billion in a single day.
As of Wednesday, deposits in commercial banks have reached Rs 6,483 billion while loans worth Rs 4.969 trillion have been disbursed from commercial banks.
Cd ratio has come down to 76.23 per cent and inter-bank interest rate is 3.00 per cent. On the previous day, the CD ratio was 76.64 percent.
