Kathmandu. Global IME Bank Limited has been honoured with The Best Bank Award 2025 of Global Finance Magazine. With this award, Global IME Bank has been awarded the Best Bank Award of Global Finance Magazine for two consecutive years. Global Finance also honored Global IME Bank in 2024.
Global IME Bank has emerged as the best bank in Nepal for the year 2025 in terms of reliability, financial resource mobilization, expanding access, establishing strategic relationships, developing business and customer-friendly services, and credit rating.
Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Surendra Raj Regmi said that this award has encouraged Global IME Bank to provide more excellent service and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank and other regulatory bodies, shareholders, employees and all the customers who have extended their support for this honor.
Global Finance Magazine honoured the best banks in Africa, Asia Pacific, Caribbean, Central America, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, North America and Western Europe along with Global IME Bank.
Global IME Bank is the first Nepali bank to be honored with this prestigious award of Global Finance. Global Finance presents this prestigious award to the best central banks and commercial banks in the world.
Global Finance has awarded various banks around the world including Hong Kong’s HSBC, India’s State Bank of India, China Construction Bank of China, Nepal’s Global IME Bank, Malaysia’s UOB Malaysia, Bangladesh’s Citibank, Japan’s SMBC for 2025.
Global Finance’s recognition of “Nepal’s Best Bank” will encourage the bank to provide creative services in the days to come.
Earlier, Global IME Bank has been honored in different categories by various reputed national and international organizations. The bank has so far received prestigious awards such as Bank of the Year 2014, Best Internet Bank 2016, Best Bank Nepal 2024 and 2025, Best Bank ESG Nepal 2024 and Best Employer.
