Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has urged Malaysian investors to invest more in Nepal’s physical infrastructure and tourism sector.
Finance Minister Poudel urged the investors participating in the visiting Malaysia-Nepal Business Council delegation to invest more in Nepal’s infrastructure development and tourism sector. “There is a conducive environment for investment from the private sector in Nepal. The policies are investment-friendly,” he said, adding, “Identify the areas of investment and move ahead with better preparation.” The government is ready to help and facilitate. ’
The participants of the delegation expressed their interest to invest in information technology, trade, hydro, infrastructure, environment and tourism sectors. Pradeep Kumar Kukreja, Chairman of Malaysia-Nepal Business Council, was also present in the delegation. Chai Ki Khan, Ganesh Kumar Vangah, MK Sangrah and others were present.
