Kathmandu. Himalayan Everest Insurance has urged its insured to come to collect the payment of the insurance claims that are yet to be settled.
Issuing a notice today, the company has requested the insured who are yet to receive the payment of insurance claims under the insurance policy issued by the company. “It appears that the company has not been able to submit the required documents through telephone or e-mail from time to time to submit the required documents for damage assessment and settlement of claims,” the notice said, adding, “Therefore, within the next seven days, the insured has requested the concerned surveyor or directly to the company’s central office or branch office to clear the insurance claim on time.” ’
According to the company, such claim files will be closed if necessary documents are not received within the stipulated time.
