Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has organized various programs with the aim of contributing to the education and health sector in different provinces of the country as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The bank has distributed school uniforms to 87 students studying at Shree Navpravesh Basic School at Purbachauki Rural Municipality-5 in Doti district of sudurpaschim state. The school has expressed its gratitude for this support aimed at boosting the morale of the students and encouraging them to study.
In order to facilitate the delivery of health services, the bank has provided 10 wheelchairs at birendranagar-4, Surkhet-based State Hospital in Karnali State. The bank believes that this support will facilitate the movement of senior citizens and disabled patients coming to the hospital for treatment.
Similarly, the bank has also handed over seven three-seater chairs to the patients and caregivers at the District Hospital in Dhankuta district of Koshi Province. This assistance has been provided with the aim of facilitating the stay of those serving in the waiting room of the hospital.
Muktinath Bikas Bank has been continuously making social contributions in the fields of education, health, environmental protection and financial literacy. The bank has committed to expand such programs more effectively in the coming days.
