Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast very heavy rainfall at some places of the country on Saturday.
Issuing a special bulletin, the Division has informed that heavy to heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region and Tarai of Karnali, Sudur Paschim, Lumbini provinces.
According to the Division, there will be very heavy rainfall in these areas from evening to Monday.
In the last 24 hours, 100 mm to 200 mm of rain has been recorded. Heavy rainfall ranges from 50 mm to 100 mm in an hour.
The Division has urged the people living in the areas prone to floods and landslides to take precautions.
