Manjushree Finance launches smart deposit: Now regular savings through digital wallet

Kathmandu. Manjushree Finance in association with Khalti has launched ‘Smart Deposit’ facility that can be saved through digital wallets. The latest technology like Smart Deposit, launched in collaboration with the company and Khalti, will make the use of technology more widespread in financial transactions.

All the customer members who are doing their financial transactions through Khalti will be able to easily open an account in Manjushree and do their business. Tejraj Timilsina, CEO of Manjushree Finance, said that this will save the time spent to open an account in the financial institution and it will be easier to do financial transactions.

Through this service, Khalti users will be able to save a certain amount of money daily, weekly or monthly from their wallet. The savings period can be selected from 6 months to 60 months and a minimum of Rs 100 can be started.

It is believed that the digital savings feature like ‘Smart Deposit’ launched in collaboration with Khalti and Manjushree Finance as per the directives of Nepal Rastra Bank will further help in realizing nepal rastra bank’s goal of expanding financial access. It is believed that the services and facilities provided through such innovative technologies will strengthen digital inclusion and contribute to sustainable economic prosperity.

At present, under this smart deposit facility, you can get 5 percent interest annually in Manjushree Khalti Savings Account and 7 percent interest annually in Smart Recurring Account.
