Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged the people to remain alert as there is a possibility of flash floods in the rivers and streams flowing in and around Hetainda of Makawanpur in the last three hours.
Issuing a notice at 9.20 pm on Friday, the Department has urged people to remain alert as heavy rainfall has been recorded in hetauda rain measurement center and surrounding areas of Makawanpur in the last three hours.
According to the Department, people living and commuting in the coastal areas and the submergence areas will have to take precautions as there may be flash floods in small rivulets including Karra, Samari, Eastern Rapti rivers flowing around Hetauda.
