Kathmandu. Apple is working on folding phones. People have been speculating about it for a long time. However, Apple has not yet officially given information about the folding phone. Now once again some information about the company’s folding smartphone has come to light.
Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo has given information about the launch timeline of this phone. The company may launch its folding phone in 2026. If Ming Chi Kuo is to be believed, the company could start production of folding iPhones in the third quarter of this year.
What do we know so far?
Apple may launch its folding phone at next year’s fall event. That is, the company can introduce its folding phones at the event in September. The brand can also launch the iPhone Fold along with the iPhone 18 series. Ming Chi Kuo estimates that Apple contractor Foxconn could produce this smartphone in the third or fourth quarter of 2025. That is, if the company starts producing its phone this year, only then will it be launched next year.
How much can the price be?
It’s a great thing for any folding phone. This will determine what type of folding phone the company wants to make. However, the company has finalized the folding display. This display will be from Samsung. According to reports, Apple has ordered 15 to 20 million foldable iPhones. Some of these orders are for the year 2027 and 2028.
If reports are to be believed, the price of this phone can be between $ 2,000 and $ 2,500. The company is working on book-style phones, which will come with zero creases. Its interior display will be 7.8 inches and the outer display will be 5.8 inches.
