Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Company has organized an agent motivation program. The program was organized on Wednesday for the agents in Koshi Province.
Indian coach Syed Afzal Ahmed facilitated the program held in Birtamod, Jhapa. He said there was no other option but insurance for financial security. Insurance is also a mandatory condition for the future savings of private sector workers, he said.
He objected to the narrative that insurance is necessary only after death. He pointed out the need for insurance education and awareness in the society, saying that cash is needed more when a person is completely mutilated while alive, in the case of life-threatening disease, in the case of a wound and when the loan amount is needed and that security can be obtained only through insurance.
Agent Durga Rai presented a welcome dance on the occasion. Agents who achieved various achievements were honoured.
Damak Branch Chief Chandrakala Ghimire said that the company has been launching various schemes from time to time with the objective of motivating the agents.
Deputy Mayor of Koshi Province Bhola Krishna Mishra (Nabin) welcomed the participants at the programme. According to Birtamode Branch Chief Badri Bhandari, 120 agents participated in the program organized under the coordination of Koshi Province Chief Ram Bahadur Shahi.
