President Trump approved the plan to attack Iran after an important meeting with his senior colleagues. “The attack will be carried out after the final order and in the process it should be seen whether Iran agrees to give up its nuclear program,” he said. ’
“President Trump hopes that Tehran will abandon its nuclear program because of its threat to join israel’s attack,” Reuters reported, citing a Wall Street Journal report. ’
Ahead of Trump’s meeting, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected Trump’s threat. “They have threatened Trump,” he warned, warning that if the US joins the attack, it will have to face bad consequences. Iran will never bow down. Any U.S. military intervention will be given a strong response. ’
Trump had asked Khamenei to “surrender unconditionally”. However, Khamenei said, “An intelligent person who knows Iran, the Iranian nation and its history will never speak to this nation in threatening language, because the Iranian nation will not surrender.” ’
According to Reuters, there has been a division among supporters of trump’s plan to attack Iran. Some of his supporters have appealed to Trump not to engage the country in a new war in the Middle East. – Agency
