Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited has settled 14,194 claims in the fiscal year 2081/82. Claims worth Rs 2.43 billion have been paid. Out of the stated claim amount, Rs. Rs 1.09 billion has been paid due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains in the month of Ashwin, while the rest has been paid Rs. 1.09 billion. Rs 1.34 billion has been paid under other daily claims made to the company. A total of 15,480 claims have been filed till mid-June this year.
The company is making every effort to settle the pending claims at the earliest and due to the delay in payment of the remaining claims due to lack of necessary documents from the insured, the concerned insured has been requested to contact the surveyor, the company’s branch offices, state offices or head offices across the country to submit the documents as soon as possible.
