Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) is going to get a discount on renewal of life insurance policy. According to the company, the insurance policies issued by the company without paying the insurance fee on time will be exempted on renewal after completing the prescribed procedure from July 20, 2082 to July 15, 2019.
According to the company, there will be a 50 percent delay discount on the insurance policies that have been expired since March 1, 2019. Similarly, 60 per cent delay fee will be levied on insurance policies that have lapsed between March 2019 and March 15, 2019. In addition, the company has said that there will be a delay fee of up to 75 percent on the insurance policies spent from The date of payment of the last insurance fee from March 1, 2019 to July 20, 2019.
However, no such exemption has been provided in the insurance policy that expires within two years. According to the company, even the insured who has once taken a discount on late fee will not be able to get this service.
