Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE index closed at 2655.38, down 9.08 points.
Four groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased while the remaining nine have decreased due to the fall in the market. On this day, the hotel and tourism group fell the most by 2.14 percent, while the business group fell the most by 1.09 percent.
On this day, the share price of 99 companies has increased in the market and 149 companies have fallen. More than Rs 12.5 billion has been traded in the market today. Ngadi Group Power has done the most business.
