Kathmandu. SmartChoice Technologies Limited, the licensed payment system operator of Nepal Rastra Bank, and IME Hospitality, one of the best hotel groups in Nepal, have signed an agreement to offer up to 15% discount to sct UPI card customers in hotels under the group.
After this agreement, customers of SCT UPI card will get 15% discount on food and beverage bill and room tariff if they pay through the card at Hotel Himalaya and Sake & Feng in Lazimpat from June 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. The discount on room charges will be available only on transactions.
SCT currently issues SCT UPI cards through 21 banks and financial institutions and more than 100 co-operative societies. Through this offer, the aim is to make maximum use of the card and encourage cashless transactions through the card. Customers who do not have SCT UPI card can also go to their nearest bank and financial institution to participate in this offer and ask for SCT UPI card and get the card.
