Kathmandu. More than Rs 1.25 trillion in vehicle loans have been disbursed from banks till Mid-April of the current fiscal year.
According to nepal rastra bank data, rs 129.17 billion has been disbursed by banks in the last 10 months of the current fiscal year. Auto loans have increased by 4.1 percent compared to mid-June of the previous fiscal year. Last year, rs 124.10 billion was disbursed as vehicle loan till mid-July last year.
During the review period, rs 86.83 billion has been disbursed by banks for commercial purposes. Till Last June, rs 87.26 billion had been provided by banks for commercial purposes. Loans under this head decreased by 0.5 percent in the review period compared to June.
The bank has disbursed Rs 42.33 billion in vehicle loans for personal purposes till Mid-April of the current fiscal year. Which is an increase of 14.9 percent compared to last June. As of Last June, the bank had disbursed Rs 36.84 billion in vehicle loans.
