Kathmandu. An additional Rs 35.5 billion has been disbursed by the banks till Mid-April of the current fiscal year.
According to the data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB), rs 125.52 billion has been disbursed from banks till April 2019. As of Last June, rs 90.09 billion loan had been disbursed. In this way, an additional Rs 35.42 billion has been disbursed from banks in the 10 months of the current fiscal year. As compared to June, the share mortgage loan has increased by 39.2 percent till April.
As of Mid-April, banks have disbursed rs 85.73 billion in loans above Rs 10 million. As of Last June, the loan of this range was Rs 55.93 billion. The demand for loans in this range increased by 53.3 percent.
Similarly, loans in the range of Rs 15.05 billion, rs 16.62 billion and Rs 8.10 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million and Rs 8.10 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million have gone up to Rs 5 million. As of June 2018, banks had extended loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million to Rs 12.42 billion, rs 14.42 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million and Rs 7.31 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million.
Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million increased by 21.1 percent, loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million increased by 15.3 percent and loans in the range of Up to Rs 2.5 million increased by 10.8 percent.
