Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have collected a total of Rs 139.36 billion in insurance premiums till April 2018. During this period, these companies sold 13,728,342 insurance policies and collected a total insurance premium of Rs 139.36 billion.
During this period, Nepal Life Insurance Company collected the highest total insurance premium. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 36.59 billion during the period. National Life Insurance has collected Rs 17.20 billion in insurance premiums. LIC Nepal has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 15.57 billion. Himalayan Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 13.79 billion.
The National Life Insurance Company has collected a total of Rs 8.67 billion in insurance premiums. Suryajyoti Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 8.53 billion. Asian Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 7.14 billion. Citizen Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 5.68 billion.

Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 5.33 billion. Met Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.98 billion. IME Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.19 billion. Reliable Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.14 billion. Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 4.10 billion. Sun Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 3.41 billion.
