Kathmandu. The deadline for applying for right shares of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company has been extended.
Securities Sales Manager Nepal SBI Merchant Banking said that the deadline had to be extended as the application was not received as per the demand. Sun Nepal Life’s right can be applied till May 30. However, now the application for this right can be made till June 15.
The company has opened the sale of right shares from May 15. The company has opened the sale of right shares in the ratio of 1:0.27 i.e. 27 percent of the current paid-up capital. The company has issued a total of 10,696,320 units of right shares at a face value of Rs 100 each.
Shareholders of the company can apply from the securities sales manager Nepal SBI Merchant Banking as well as the central and regional offices of Sun Nepal Life Insurance, while the banks and financial institutions participating in the ASBA service can also apply through the C-ASBA system.
The company had closed the book on April 15 to issue the right shares. This means that shareholders can apply for this right share till April 30.
