Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2081/82 BS, the insurance companies doing non-life insurance business have collected a total of Rs 781.1 million in insurance premiums. These companies have sold a total of 319,659 insurance policies till this month and collected a total of Rs 781.1 million in insurance premiums.
Oriental Insurance Company has sold only one insurance policy during this period. National Insurance has collected a total of Rs 1,000 by selling four insurance policies. Neco Insurance Company has collected a total of Rs 12.8 million in micro insurance premium by selling 4,976 insurance policies. Prabhu Insurance Company has collected Rs 6,000 as insurance premium by selling 14 micro insurance policies. Shikhar Insurance Company
collected 6,104 insurance premiums and collected a total of Rs 637,000 in insurance premiums. Himalayan Everest Insurance has collected a total of Rs 1,000 from the sale of two micro insurance policies.
Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company has collected Rs 656,000 by selling 182 micro insurance policies. Nepal Micro Insurance has collected Rs 215.29 million in insurance premium by selling 85,121 policies.
Protective Micro Insurance has collected a total of Rs 197.9 million from the sale of 78,454 insurance policies. Star Micro Insurance has collected a total of Rs 183 million in insurance premium by selling 83,022 insurance policies. Trust Micro Insurance has collected Rs 176.64 million in insurance premium by selling 61,779 insurance policies.
