Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have invested more than Rs 7.25 trillion in various sectors. According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) till the third quarter of the current fiscal year (July-April), 14 life insurers have invested Rs 733.74 billion.
According to statistics, Nepal Life’s investment in various sectors has been seen the most. The company alone has invested Rs 187.83 billion.
Life Insurance Corporation is in second place. The company has invested Rs 113.81 billion in various sectors.
Similarly, National Life has invested Rs 66.23 billion in various sectors while Himalayan Life has invested Rs 72.43 billion.
National Insurance Company has invested Rs 65.52 billion in various sectors, Asian Life Insurance Rs 45.24 billion, Suryajyoti Life Rs 39.23 billion, Met Life Rs 31.27 billion, Citizen Life Rs 22.92 billion, Sanima Reliance Life Rs 20.84 billion. Reliable Nepal Life has invested Rs 19.48 billion, IME Life Rs 16.78 billion, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Rs 16.97 billion and Sun Nepal Life Rs 13.49 billion.
