34 billion more investment in stock market in 9 months, demand for loans above Rs 10 million in banks increased

Kathmandu. In the nine months of the current fiscal year, an additional Rs 34 billion has entered the stock market from banks.

According to the data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB), rs 124.10 billion has been disbursed from banks till Mid-April of the current fiscal year. As of Last June, rs 90.09 billion loan had been disbursed. In this way, an additional Rs 28.40 billion has been disbursed from banks in the seven months of the current fiscal year. As compared to June, the share mortgage loan has increased by 37.8 percent.

As of Mid-April, banks have disbursed rs 84.69 billion in loans above Rs 10 million. As of Last June, the loan of this range was Rs 55.93 billion. The demand for loans in this range has increased by 51.4 percent.

Similarly, loans in the range of Rs 10 million above Rs 5 million have gone up to Rs 14.83 billion, rs 16.64 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million and Rs 7.94 billion in the range of Up to Rs 2.5 million. As of June 2018, banks had extended loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million to Rs 12.42 billion, rs 14.42 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 5 million and Rs 7.31 billion in the range of Rs 2.5 million.

Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million increased by 19.4 per cent, loans in the range between Rs 2.5 million and Rs 5 million by 15.4 per cent and up to Rs 2.5 million by 8.6 per cent.
