Kathmandu. Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yadav has said that works have been carried out in such a way that the people can see and feel directly in the drinking water sectors across the country. Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Siswa Maheshpur Drinking Water Project at Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City in Bara district today, Minister Yadav said that the entire ministry team, including himself, was working to solve the drinking water problems across the country.
“We have given priority not only to planning but also to work that shows results,” he said. The government is committed to the work that citizens can experience. Significant progress is being made in the field of drinking water and sanitation. ”
Similarly, he said that after taking charge of the ministry, the water supply projects which were stalled and incomplete in different parts of the country have come into operation and other projects are in the construction stage. Minister Yadav said that the Ministry is constantly working to improve the quality, accessibility and management of water.
“Our next priority is to provide pure drinking water to the rural settlements of the country, including the Tarai-Madhes, for which work is underway in collaboration with the state and local governments,” he said. ”
Minister Yadav also said that the government is committed to improve the drinking water service that the citizens can experience. He said that the project to be operated in ward no. 15, 26 and 27 of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City is a concrete step towards fulfilling the long-term dream of the people of kalaiya sub-metropolis in the field of drinking water.
“Let us all work together to make the campaign of ‘Clean Water, Healthy Life’ meaningful. The prosperity of Maheshpur is our common journey. Minister Yadav said that there is a shortage of water in the Tarai and hilly areas and especially in bara, Parsa, Rautahat and other districts of Tarai-Madhes have also faced serious drinking water problems in the recent past.
