‘No agreement has been reached to send seasonal workers to South Korea’

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has clarified that there is no agreement on sending seasonal workers to South Korea.

The ministry issued a statement clarifying the issue. According to the Ministry, serious attention has been drawn to the propaganda on social media that the local levels who have established the Bhagini agreement should contact the Ministry as there is an agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of South Korea regarding sending seasonal workers.

Earlier, the Ministry had made public through a press note on February 27 that the press release of the false behavior published on November 27 was baseless and baseless.

No further decision has been taken by the ministry in this regard, the statement said. “No information has been invited on any date regarding seasonal workers so far,” the statement said, adding, “Therefore, a letter head and seal of the ministry on such baseless and baseless issues have been misused to create confusion by publishing a statement with the signature of the division chief of this ministry.” ’
