A meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Friday decided to distribute a total dividend of 2.631579 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 2.50 billion from the accumulated profit of that financial year. Of this, 2.5 percent is a bonus share of Rs 62,566,448 and a cash dividend of Rs 3,292,971 for tax purposes of 0.131,579 percent.
According to the company, the proposed dividend will be distributed to the shareholders after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority after approval from the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
