Kathmandu. Kathmandu: An international nail seminar showcasing Japanese expertise has concluded in Kathmandu. April 22 and 23, 2025 – The two-day International Nail Seminar held in Kathmandu has added new enthusiasm to the nail art field by bringing five famous nail artists from Japan – Haru, Miano, Kanako, Maiko and Oki – on the same platform with more than 50 local nail professionals.
Presented by Pop Up Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and organized by Pretty Nails and The Nail Studio by Sirap, the aim of the seminar was to empower the nail art industry in Nepal with world-class trends and technologies.
With a detailed introduction to the Japanese nail art style in the seminar under the direct guidance of Japanese experts, participants have learned the fine practices of cleaning, subtle methods of design and the skills of making complex handmade nail stickers. The training covered everything from nail preparation, equipment care, basic design skills to advanced workshops.
Led by Anu Amatya, Sirapa Tuladhar and Kapil Upreti, the event served as a bridge to knowledge exchange as well as cultural dialogue.
