Kathmandu. Kathmandu: A writ petition filed against Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) Chairman Sharad Ojha has been kept in the Supreme Court today.
A division bench of Justices Sharanga Subedi and Tek Prasad Dhungana of the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the writ petition filed against Ojha. The writ petition was not allowed to be viewed on April 10 and April 15 and it could not be seen on April 15.
A single bench of Justice Nahakul Subedi of the Supreme Court had on April 26 refused to pass an interim order against Ojha. Subedi’s bench issued a show-cause order in the name of the government and summoned both the parties for discussion.
Advocate Indira Dhamala, who is also an agent of National Life Insurance Company, had filed a writ petition against Ojha on March 27, accusing him of submitting a fake work experience certificate to become the chairman of the Insurance Authority.
