Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has advised customers to take all necessary information while taking electronic cards issued by banks and financial institutions.
The Central Government has issued a notification for financial awareness today. Banks and financial institutions should provide all the necessary information related to the use of cards along with the application form while issuing electronic cards such as debit cards (ATMs), credit cards, prepaid cards to their customers.
Therefore, the central bank has suggested to take necessary information about the charges of taking the above card, the limit of transaction and the additional facilities received from the card before taking the service related to the electronic card. “In addition, we should seek necessary information regarding the interest rate charged while using the credit card,” the NRB said.
