Subisu Cable has a turnover of Rs 3.28 billion, earnings are constantly shrinking due to increased competition

Kathmandu. Internet service provider Subisu Cable Limited’s business income has declined due to investment in telecommunication infrastructure and increasing burden of government salute fees and taxes.

The company last fiscal year 2080. It has a turnover of Rs 3.28 billion. Last year 2079. The company had a turnover of Rs 3.46 billion in 2018. Fiscal year 2078. The company had a turnover of Rs 3.77 billion in 2017.

With unhealthy competition among internet service providers in the domestic internet market, the size of the transactions of almost all internet service providers is shrinking. Subisu Cable Net’s transaction volume has been steadily declining for the past few years.

According to The Nepal Telecommunication Authority( NTA), the total number of subscribers stood at 310,000 at the end of 2024 last year. Subisu Cable accounts for 10 percent of the total market share.

The company’s rating for banking loans of Rs 3.62 billion has dropped below the previous year. According to rating agency CARE Ratings, Care NP Double B-minus and Care NP 4 rating for short-term loans. The company has been removed from the monitoring list regarding agency rating.
