Kathmandu. Bima Dokan Pvt. Ltd. has organized inter-insurance company futsal tournament (2nd Insurance Cup Futsal Tournament 2082) on the occasion of New Year 2082 BS. The tournament was organized by The Insurance Shop on April 12 and today.
Eleven companies including life insurance, non-life insurance, micro insurance and reinsurance companies participated in the futsal tournament. On the first day, 10 matches were played in the league and knock-out, while three companies were knocked out through knockout.
Similarly, eight companies played in the quarter-finals on the second day of the match. Of these, Himalayan Life and Himalayan Everest Company reached the final match.
ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai was the chief guest on the first day of the match. It was from him that the game was inaugurated.
Similarly, Nirmal Adhikari, Director of Insurance Division of Nepal Insurance Authority was the chief guest on the second day of the match. He gave certificates, shields, trophies and cash prizes to the winners of the tournament.
Himalayan Life Insurance Company has won the title of runner-up by securing the second position this season. He won a medal, a shield and a cash prize of Rs 15,000.
Himalayan Everest Insurance Company has been successful in securing the first position this season. The company won a medal, shield and a cash prize of Rs 35,000.
The event has been organized with the objective of strengthening mutual relations among all insurance companies. According to the company, the competition was organized with the theme “Sports for Health and Collaboration for Insurance”.
