Kathmandu. Met Life Nepal has launched its latest insurance scheme ‘Double Protection Plus’. This type of insurance is the first innovative insurance in Nepal to include reliable high insurance security and smart savings in a single plan. It was unveiled at a special programme held in Kathmandu on Friday. Soon after its launch, the customer response was very encouraging. According to the company, 100 policies were booked within an hour.
The Double Protection Plus plan offers customers double insurance protection, flexible premium payment options, and attractive long-term saving features. Customers can opt for a lump sum premium payment or a limited-term premium payment option of only 5 or 10 years. According to this, insurance cover is available throughout the plan period. The scheme is available to people in the age group of 18 to 65 years and ensures insurance cover of up to 75 years. Due to flexibility and reliable insurance protection, this scheme has become one of the most attractive security and savings schemes available in the market today.
The main feature of this scheme is the benefit of double sum assured – if the insured person dies due to accident or disease during the plan period or complete and permanent disability or disability, then double the sum assured is provided to the desired person or insured person in lump sum.
In addition, the scheme also has two special benefits: booster fund benefits – based on the investment returns of MetLife’s segregated fund, annual payments provided every year from the first policy anniversary and loyalty reward benefits – will be received assured at the end of the insurance period at the end of every five years during the life span of the insured.
