Kathmandu. Vice President of Corporate Media and Secretary of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCICK) Sushma Mahara called on Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel today.
Secretary Mahara visited the Ministry of Finance and held a meeting with Minister Poudel to apprise him about the problems faced by small and medium enterprises.
During the meeting held on Thursday, she apprised Finance Minister Poudel about the various problems being faced by the businessmen of Kathmandu. In the meeting, Secretary Mahara also suggested to move ahead by including small and medium entrepreneurs through the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Mahara, who is also a senior beauty expert, said policy corruption is a complex problem of the country from the outside and suggested Minister Poudel and the government to formulate a plan to reduce it and eradicate it.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Poudel said the current government’s style of functioning has proved that the government is in favour of traders, businessmen and industrialists. Minister Poudel said that the government has facilitated by issuing various ordinances after understanding the plight of the businessmen.
