Citizen’s Bank donates daily necessities to Defence Nepal

Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has provided daily essential food items and sanitary pads to Raksha Nepal, an organization that has been doing commendable work for the protection of girls and women who have been sexually exploited, especially children at risk of trafficking and sexual violence, under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

Raksha Nepal, an organization engaged in the protection and rehabilitation of women, girls and children affected by various violence for two decades, is trying to make them self-reliant through skills, education, counseling, legal assistance, self-defense and self-awareness.

The bank handed over the materials to Defence Nepal amidst a ceremony. Thanking the bank for its support, they said that they have been encouraged to continue working for the rights of women and children in the days to come.

The bank believes that supporting the organization, which has been doing remarkable humanitarian work in the society, will facilitate the operation of the organization. In the coming days, the bank plans to conduct various programs to bring positive changes in the social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. sectors under the Institutional Social Responsibility Program.
