Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance for the fiscal year 2081. A total of Rs 2.09 billion has been paid by clearing 11,382 claims till March 1982.
Out of the claim amount, Rs 873.1 million has been paid due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains in the month of October, while the remaining Rs 1.21 billion has been paid under other daily claims made by the company. A total of 12,388 claims have been filed so far this fiscal year.
The company has said that it is making every effort to settle the pending claims at the earliest. Due to the delay in payment of the remaining claims due to lack of necessary documents from the insured, the company has requested the concerned insured to contact the surveyor, branch offices, state offices or head offices across the country and submit the documents immediately.
