Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has concluded this year’s ‘Global Money Week 2025’ by conducting various week-long programs among thousands of students and youth across the country with the aim of enhancing financial literacy. On the occasion of this year’s ‘Global Money Week 2025’, organized under the national coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank, various branches of this bank in all seven provinces have conducted various programs with the aim of developing financial knowledge, skills and attitudes by involving students and youth in the financial literacy campaign.
More than 4,500 students and youth across the country have benefited from more than 80 programs conducted by various branches in all seven provinces under this campaign throughout the week. Bank branches in districts like Bajura, Rukum, Kalikot, Jumla, Jajarkot, Darchula, which have comparatively low financial literacy, also conducted programs to enhance financial literacy under this campaign.
Similarly, this bank had also produced and published materials to enhance financial literacy under this campaign of the Nepal Rastra Bank. As per the instructions given by the Nepal Rastra Bank to all banks and financial institutions, this bank is confident that the various programs and other materials organized by this bank have helped in increasing financial literacy, public awareness, financial knowledge, and skills among children, students, and youth.
