Prime Bank’s Financial Literacy Program at Global Money Week

Kathmandu. Prime Commercial Bank Branch Office Arunkhola has completed a financial literacy program on the occasion of Global Money Week-2025.

The bank, as part of its social responsibility program, completed a financial literacy program at Shree Yadav Secondary School in Madhyabindu Municipality-12, Tamaspur on Wednesday.

In the program, coordinated by the bank’s Arunkhola branch team and principal Gyanendra Mahato, the bank’s Arunkhola branch chief Tulka Prasad Kafle, relationship officer Ashish Giri, and operations department chief Hari Prasad Kharel provided basic financial literacy education related to banking and safe financial transactions to 58 participating students and 14 teachers.

The bank’s branch chief Kafle informed that the 58 students who participated in the program, which was held in the presence of the school’s principal Mahato and other teachers and employees, were enthusiastic. This program is expected to enhance the financial awareness, knowledge and skills of the target group and make the use of modern financial technology simple, easy and effective.

The bank, which has been providing the highest interest on deposits, loan investments along with modern banking services such as ATM service, credit card, mobile banking, keeping in mind the needs of customers, can open a student savings account with zero balance and ATM and mobile banking are available free of charge for the first year, informed the branch chief Kafle.
