Birgunj | CG Motors, a leading name in the field of electric vehicle (EV) distribution, has expanded its presence in Nepal, focusing on Madhesh Pradesh, by launching a diverse range of cutting-edge brands in Birgunj. The company has appointed Minolta Investment Pvt. Ltd. as its official channel partner in the region, expressing its commitment to transform the automobile sector in Nepal.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City Rajesh Man Singh, Executive Director of Minolta Investment Rajesh Agrawal, CEO/Director of CG Motors Hemant Agrawal, media persons and other distinguished guests. This initiative brings world-renowned EV brands like AVATR, XPENG, NETA, AION V, AION Y and RIDDARA to Birgunj, which will provide advanced and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
Each brand offers unique features and technological advancements
- XPENG G6: Five-star NCAP safety rating, autonomous driving technology, 190 kW motor, 440 Nm torque and 435 kmph Range.
- AION Y: 500+ km NEDC range with 100 kW motor, 225 Nm torque and 61.4 kWh lithium iron magazine battery.
- AION V: Available in Elite and Luxury variants, with an excellent range of 520 km and 650 km respectively. The luxury variant gets an eight-point massage seat for the driver and front passenger and an in-built fridge.
- AVATR 11: Developed in collaboration between Changan, Huawei and CATL, this premium EV is equipped with a 190 kW motor, Snapdragon 8155 processor, 21-inch alloy wheels, soft-close doors, five-way massage, 12-way adjustable seats and three high-tech screens with dual Bluetooth connectivity.
- RIDDARA RD6: Designed for off-road and all-terrain, this model has a ground clearance of 225 mm, Features include 377 km range, 384 Nm torque, V2L capability, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and six-way adjustable seats.
- NETA X: Model with 185 mm ground clearance, 500 km range, V2L capability, 15.6-inch touchscreen and six airbags. It has a 2770 mm wheelbase that provides excellent comfort while smart features like wireless phone charging, power tailgate and ADAS are added.
