Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited) has been held in Kathmandu on Friday. The 14th annual general meeting of the financial institution chaired by its chairman Bijay Man Nakarmi has endorsed the details of the financial position of the financial year 2081/82, distribution of 7 percent dividend and the proposal of merger or acquisition of other microfinance financial institutions.
Likewise, Sunita Acharya has been elected unopposed to the post of Director for the next 4 (4) years on behalf of the public shareholders.
Chief Executive Officer of the organization Binod Acharya welcomed the guests. On the occasion, Chairman of the organization, Mr. Bijay Man Nakarmi, thanked all the shareholders and invitees for making the AGM a success.
This financial institution has a national level jurisdiction and has been providing microfinance services to 81,000 members and the loan amount of the institution has been disbursed to Rs. 5 billion.
