Kathmandu. Russian rescue services have found the wreckage of the missing plane about 16 kilometers from its destination in the far eastern Amur region.
The Angra Airlines FLIGHT NN-24 carrying 43 passengers, including six crew members, took off from Blagoveschensk near the Chinese border. Emergency officials said the plane disappeared from radar as it approached Tinda airport.
Amur regional governor Vasily Orlov said all necessary resources had been mobilized to find the plane. He said there were 43 passengers on board, including five children and six crew members.
Russia’s emergency ministry said a Russian helicopter had seen a burning part of the plane. According to the report, no one on board the plane is expected to survive. – Agency
