Kathmandu. On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market fell by double digits. The NEPSE index decreased by 12.50 points to close at 2,594.87.
On this day, two sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while the remaining 11 sub-groups have fallen. Today, the mutual fund group increased the most by 0.51 percent and the hydropower group decreased the most by 0.93 percent.
Today, the share prices of 56 companies increased and 197 companies declined. On this day, the share prices of 6 companies are stable.
More than Rs 4 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the transactions were made by the promoter shares of Kumari Bank.
