Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index decreased by 19.43 points to close at 2,528.16.
Following the decline, three sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 10 sub-groups decreased. On the day, the trading group increased by 1.71 percent, while the hydropower group saw the maximum decline of 1.48 percent.
Shares of 33 companies increased and 214 declined. On this day, the share prices of 5 companies are stable.
The market was traded at Rs 3.36 billion today. Nepal Reinsurance Company has made the highest turnover in the country.
